| This student chose to create her collage as a 'book', its form referring to the Bible that is the basis of her devout beliefs. The front cover suggests the Old Testament; the inner core, the New Testament; and the unfinished (and so unrepresented) back cover, the student's depiction of what her beliefs mean to her. This young artist was intrigued by art's part in faith and included among her visuals some of the most compelling images from Christian painting, including the Grunwald altarpiece. | |
